After many years as a harpsichordist and organist I am now a practicing visual artist. The connections between playing music and making art are enormous. Most of my work combines the two fields in some way; a large construction based on the time signature changes in the Monteverdi 'Vespers' of 1610, for example, or small sculptures made according to the figured bass numbers of Bach's 'St Matthew Passion' are just a couple of ways I 'play' and 'make' at the same time. I invite you to visit the following pages to look at some of the work I have made recently. Linda Kent, March 2021
